I’m Ujjwal Rupakheti, a full-stack web developer and SEO specialist in Itahari, Nepal. For 3+ years I’ve built websites, SaaS products and business software for clients in Nepal and abroad, and made sure people can find them on Google and in AI answers.

You work with me directly, from the first call to launch
When a developer builds the site and a separate agency handles SEO, fixes wait in a queue between two vendors. With me, the person who finds a problem is the person who fixes it, in the code.
01
Websites & Online Stores
Fast business websites, online stores with Nepali payments, redesigns that keep your rankings, and maintenance after launch.
Most websites in Nepal are opened on a phone, often on mobile data. I build sites that load quickly on those connections, read well in English and Nepali, and are structured for Google from the first day. I work mostly in Next.js and React, which render pages on the server, so visitors and search engines see the full content straight away.
Static & Business Websites
Service pages, enquiry forms, WhatsApp and map links, a blog you can edit, and pages written for the searches your customers actually make.
Custom stores or WooCommerce and Shopify, with eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR and bank transfer, plus PayPal or card for buyers abroad, and product structured data so prices can show in Google.
A map of every old URL to its new one, 301 redirects, the content that already ranks kept in place, a staging test, and Search Console checks after launch.
Clean layouts people understand at first glance, designed for phones first and tested on real devices, with an audit option for sites that already exist.
Trekking companies, hotels, restaurants, schools, consultancies and clinics each need something different from a website. Each page below explains what yours needs, what it costs and how I build it.
Trekking Company Websites
Itinerary pages, fixed departures and WhatsApp enquiries, built to win bookings from travellers abroad.
I’ve built and launched my own SaaS products, so I know what it takes beyond the code: sign-up, billing in rupees, dashboards, roles, backups and the slow work of making a product reliable. I build the same for clients, and stay involved after launch.
SaaS Development
From idea to paying users: accounts, plans, payments by QR, eSewa, Khalti or card, an admin console and the marketing site. Jhino and Eknas are two SaaS products I built this way.
HR, payroll, inventory, bookings and internal tools that fit how your business already works, including Nepali rules for VAT, SSF and TDS, as in Eutaa.
Chatbots and AI features on Gemini and other LLM APIs that answer from your own data, such as your products, prices and policies, inside your website or app.
Documented REST APIs, signed webhooks, payments recorded exactly once, and PostgreSQL schemas designed to grow, connected to payment gateways, SMS, email and AI models.
Most SEO problems I see in Nepal are technical: slow pages, missing structured data, sites that render blank for crawlers, or a Google Business Profile with the wrong details. Because I’m also the developer, I fix them in the code instead of writing a report and waiting. I’ve also written 200+ SEO articles across five client domains.
Technical SEO Audit
Crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data and site architecture, checked page by page, with every fix explained and, if you want, made.
Clear answers on your pages, entity markup and open access for AI crawlers, so ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can read and cite you.
Keyword research that maps each search to a page, content written for real questions, and links earned from relevant sites, not bought from link farms.
Starting prices for typical projects. Each website and SaaS package has its own page with a price calculator, every option priced and a PDF quotation you can download. Your quote is fixed after a short call, so the number you agree is the number you pay.

Online store, Biratnagar
Organic traffic went from 0 to 1,200 visitors a month in five months after a technical audit and new product pages, and ad spend dropped by more than 60%.
Local service, Itahari
A rebuilt Google Business Profile and local pages reached the Google Maps top 3 in eight weeks, with 400% more phone calls that quarter.
Content platform
Topic clusters and internal linking took the site to 200+ ranking keywords, several in Google’s top five.
I saw a real problem in the Nepali market: online wedding invitations were made for Western weddings, not for ours. Ujjwal Rupakheti helped me bring my idea to reality. He built Nimtto with Nepali and English, Bikram Sambat dates and RSVPs for every ceremony, exactly the way I imagined it.
Businesses in Nepal rarely know who their regular customers are, or whether an offer actually brings anyone back. Ujjwal Rupakheti built Eknas to change that: a free wallet for customers, a counter app where staff record a purchase by phone number or QR code, and a dashboard where owners run offers and see results by branch. He understood the problem and built every part of it properly.

Where I work
Across Nepal, and for Clients Abroad
I’m based in Itahari, Koshi Province, and work with businesses across Nepal, mostly online. Clients in the US, UK, Australia, Canada and the Gulf get a fixed quote in USD, a written contract, payment by bank transfer, Wise or PayPal, and an NDA if they want one. Code and intellectual property transfer to you on payment.
A static website with me starts from NPR 18,000. A business website with a CMS and more pages starts from NPR 35,000, and an online store with eSewa, Khalti or Fonepay from NPR 60,000. Domain, hosting and paid plugins are extra. You get a fixed quote after a short call about pages, features and content. My guide to website cost in Nepal adds domain, hosting and yearly running costs.
How Much Does a SaaS Product or Custom Software Cost?
A SaaS product starts from NPR 70,000 for a focused first version, and grows with the number of user roles, integrations and payment flows. Larger products are quoted after a paid discovery week, where we agree the scope, screens and data model in writing before any build starts. Clients abroad get a fixed quote in USD. See how to build a SaaS in Nepal and my guide to software development cost in Nepal.
How Much Does SEO Cost in Nepal per Month?
A one-time technical SEO audit starts from NPR 15,000. Monthly SEO starts from NPR 30,000 and depends on how competitive your keywords are and how much content is needed. Paid tools and content beyond the plan are listed separately. My guide to SEO cost in Nepal shows what each budget buys.
How Long Does It Take to Build a Website or an App?
A static website takes 1 to 2 weeks, a business website 2 to 4 weeks, an online store 3 to 8 weeks and the first version of a SaaS product 6 to 12 weeks. The biggest causes of delay are late content and slow feedback, so I agree a review schedule with you at the start.
Should I Hire a Freelance Developer or an Agency in Nepal?
Hire a freelancer when you want to work directly with the person who builds and ranks your product, at a lower cost. Hire an agency when you need many people working at once, for example several apps in parallel or round-the-clock support. I’ll tell you honestly if your project needs an agency.
Do You Build Online Stores with eSewa, Khalti and Fonepay?
Yes. I build custom stores and stores on WooCommerce or Shopify, with eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR or bank transfer for Nepal and PayPal or card for buyers abroad. I also add product structured data, so products can show prices in Google results. My guide on how to start an online store in Nepal covers registration, merchant accounts and delivery.
Do I Own the Source Code and the Website?
Yes. After the final payment, the code, the repository, the domain and the hosting accounts are yours, in your name. I hand over the repository, the admin logins and a short guide to running the site.
Which Technologies Do You Use, and Why Next.js?
I mainly use Next.js, React and TypeScript on the front end, Node with Express or Fastify on the back end, and PostgreSQL with Prisma or Drizzle for data, deployed with Docker. Next.js renders pages on the server, so they load fast and search engines read the full content. For a simple site you’ll edit every day, I may recommend WordPress instead.
Is Every Website SEO-Friendly from Day One?
Yes. Every site launches with clean URLs, titles and descriptions, structured data, an XML sitemap, fast Core Web Vitals, mobile layouts and redirects from any old pages. That gives you a strong technical base. Rankings still depend on content, competition and links, so nobody can honestly guarantee a position.
Do You Offer SEO and Web Development Together?
Yes, and that is the main reason clients hire me. The same person who writes the code fixes the technical SEO, so changes to speed, schema or site structure happen in days instead of waiting on a second vendor. Development and SEO are still quoted separately, so you only pay for what you need.
How Long Does SEO Take to Show Results?
Most sites see early movement in 3 to 6 months, and competitive keywords can take longer. Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work often show results sooner. I report monthly on rankings, traffic and enquiries so you can see what is changing.
Can You Add an AI Chatbot to My Website?
Yes. A chatbot can answer your customers from your own products, prices and policies, using Gemini or another LLM, on your website or inside your app. My guide to AI chatbots for business in Nepal covers what one costs and where it falls short.
Can You Redesign My Website Without Losing Rankings?
Yes. Before a redesign I map every old URL to its new one, keep the content that ranks, test the new site on a staging address and set up 301 redirects. After launch I watch Search Console for errors and fix them in the first weeks.
Do You Provide Maintenance After Launch?
Every project includes a free support period after launch for bugs. After that, monthly maintenance covers updates, backups, uptime checks and small changes, priced by the size of the site.
Can You Build a Website in Nepali or in Two Languages?
Yes. I build sites in Nepali Unicode, in English, or in both, with a language switch and correct hreflang tags so Google shows the right version. Several of my products, such as Nimtto and Pustau, are bilingual and show Bikram Sambat dates.
Do You Work with International Clients, and How Do I Pay?
Yes. I work with clients in the US, UK, Australia, Canada and the Gulf. Nepal is UTC+5:45, which gives a good overlap with European mornings and Australian afternoons. International clients pay in USD by bank transfer, Wise or PayPal, against a written contract, and I’m happy to sign an NDA.
What Do AEO and GEO Mean, and Do I Need Them?
Answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) mean making your content easy for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews to read, trust and cite. In practice that means clear answers on your pages, structured data, a consistent business profile across the web and crawler access. Good SEO is still the foundation.
