Static website design in Nepal with me starts at NPR 18,000 for up to five custom pages, live in one to two weeks. I’m Ujjwal Rupakheti, a web developer in Itahari. I build fast, mobile-first sites for shops, clinics, homestays and small businesses across Nepal, with WhatsApp, Google setup and free hosting in your name.

Static vs Dynamic Website: Which One Fits Your Business
A static website, often called a brochure website, is a set of finished pages sent to every visitor as they are. A dynamic website builds pages from a database, so staff can edit it and customers can pay.

02What’s included
What the NPR 18,000 Static Website Package Includes
Everything is chosen for Nepal, where most customers find you on a phone, often on mobile data.
Up to Five Pages
Home, About, Services, Gallery and Contact, or whichever five answer what customers would otherwise phone to ask.
A Custom, Mobile-First Design
Designed for a phone first, not a bought template. The median Nepali business page I tested weighed 3.6 MB.
WhatsApp, Tap-to-Call and a Map
On every page. Only 48% of the working business homepages I tested had a call or WhatsApp link.
An Enquiry Form to Your Inbox
Spam-protected and delivered through a form service, with no server of yours to run or patch.
SEO Built into the Code
Titles, descriptions, LocalBusiness structured data and an XML sitemap. Only 19% of the sites I tested had business schema.
Search Console and Analytics
Set up and verified, so you see which searches bring visitors.
HTTPS and Hosting in Your Name
One in three business addresses I tested no longer worked, most often because the domain had gone.
Core Web Vitals on a Real Phone
Checked before launch: LCP under 2.5 s, INP under 200 ms and CLS under 0.1.
English or Nepali Unicode
Real Unicode text that Google reads and every phone shows. Both, with a language switch, is an option.
Changes and Bug Fixes
Two rounds of changes at each milestone, and any bug found in the 30 days after launch fixed free.
03Why it costs less
Why a Static Website is Cheap to Run and Fast on Mobile Data
A WordPress site runs PHP, a database and plugins to build each page. A static site does that work once, when I build it, so the host only sends finished files.
Built once by me
Finished HTML pages
Photos sized for phones
Sitemap and schema
A Static HostSuch as Cloudflare Pages
Free to host

No PHP or database

Free Static Hosting
Cloudflare Pages, Netlify and GitHub Pages host static sites free; Hotel Aarohi, which I built, runs on GitHub Pages. Stores and SaaS need a paid server.
Nothing to Patch on a Server
When the PHP2Shell flaws went public in October 2026, Nepal took government websites offline to patch them. A static site has no PHP or plugins for such flaws to reach.
Fast on Mobile Data
The host sends a file that already exists. In my tests, only 3 of 37 Nepali business pages met Google’s 2.5-second target on mobile.
Less Upkeep
Mostly renewals, uptime checks and content changes when prices or hours change, so many owners pay for help only when needed.
Static Website Limits and the Upgrade Path to WordPress
A static site is right for some jobs and wrong for others, and I’d rather say so before you buy.
What a Static Site Does Well from NPR 18,000
Shows who you are, what you offer and where to find you
Takes enquiries by form, WhatsApp and phone
Loads fast on mobile data
Costs almost nothing to host
What It Can’t Do Another Package
Pages you edit in a dashboard
eSewa, Khalti or card payments
Customer logins and accounts
A blog your staff post to weekly
You Can’t Edit It Yourself
Changes go through me. Monthly care, at NPR 1,500 a month, covers up to an hour of small changes, such as new prices or hours. Change things weekly? A CMS is the better buy.
Upgrading to WordPress Later
My WordPress & CMS package, from NPR 35,000, adds up to ten pages and a blog your staff edit. Your text and photos move across, and each old URL gets a 301 redirect so rankings carry over.
Why a Static Site Can’t Take Payments
Payments need a server you control, and a static site has none. My eSewa and Khalti guide shows the full flow.
eSewa ePay v2: the server signs each request with HMAC-SHA256, then checks the status API
Khalti KPG-2: the server calls initiate, then lookup, and trusts only that answer
Secret keys stay on the server, never in the browser

06Price factors
What Changes a Static Website Price in Nepal, and Why
Every option in the calculator is real work at a fixed price. Here is what each one involves.
Pages and Content
An extra page, at NPR 2,000, gets its own layout, title, description and sitemap entry, so each service can rank for its own search. Written text, at NPR 1,500 a page, is about 400 to 600 words built on real searches, and removes the commonest delay: late content. Nepali and English versions, at NPR 6,000, add a language switch and hreflang tags.
Features
A photo gallery, at NPR 3,000, adds albums and a full-screen viewer, with every photo resized for phones. An extra form, at NPR 2,000, has its own fields, such as a homestay asking for dates and guests. A downloads section, at NPR 2,000, lists brochures, menus or notices as PDFs; on restaurant websites I keep the menu as text too.
Priority Delivery
Launch in about half the usual time, for 25% of the one-time total. It moves other scheduled work, so it is priced as a share of your project, not a flat fee.
Monthly Options After Launch
Monthly care, at NPR 1,500 a month, covers uptime, backups, renewal reminders and an hour of changes; advertised plans in Nepal start at about NPR 2,000. Monthly SEO, at NPR 30,000, adds fixes, content and links; most sites move in 3 to 6 months.

A Five-Page Clinic Website in Itahari, Text Written
A two-doctor clinic needs Home, Doctors, Services, OPD Times and Contact; I write the four main pages from a short call. If OPD times change weekly, a clinic website with a CMS suits better. Clinics in Itahari can meet me in person.

08After launch
Static Website Running Costs After Launch
After launch you pay other companies for two things at most: the domain and, if you want it, business email. Hosting and HTTPS cost nothing.
The registry at register.com.np says .np registration is free for eligible applicants; a .com costs about NPR 1,500 to 2,500 a year.
So the base package costs NPR 18,000 to 20,500 in its first year, and NPR 0 to 2,500 a year after that, before email or monthly care. My guide to website cost in Nepal has every figure.
09Market prices
Static Website Prices in Nepal: The Market vs My Quote
Small static or brochure sites in Nepal are commonly advertised at about NPR 10,000 to 50,000, judging by packages agencies and freelancers publish. What a quote covers matters more than its number.

How a Static Website Project Runs, and When You Pay
01
Call and Quotation
A short call about your pages, then a written quotation, valid for 30 days.
02
Preview and First 50%
Your home page and one inner page on a preview link; you pay half once you’ve seen them.
03
Every Page Built
The other pages, forms and SEO setup, with two rounds of changes.
04
Launch and Final 50%
Domain connected, Search Console verified, code and accounts in your name.
05
30 Days of Fixes
Bugs found in the first 30 days are fixed free; monthly care is optional.
You never pay for work you haven’t seen. Late content moves the launch date, not the price. Pay by eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR or bank transfer.
Static Websites I’ve Built and Results You Can Check
Hotel Aarohi in Chandrapur, Rautahat is a static site I built in 2026: rooms, the Thakali restaurant, a gallery, booking enquiries and local pages with Hotel schema. It runs free on GitHub Pages, with enquiries emailed through Formspree.
A rebuilt Google Business Profile and local pages reached the Google Maps top 3 in eight weeks, with 400% more phone calls that quarter.
Hospitality business
Local SEO took it into the Google Maps top 3 in six weeks.
Both came from local SEO alongside the website; nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking. Start with a Google Business Profile linked to your site.
Working with Ujjwal on our agency project was a remarkable experience. He approached the project with the precision of an engineer and the strategic thinking of a marketer. The website he built not only looks polished but ranks exceptionally well for our target keywords. His dedication to quality and his availability made the entire process seamless.

Who prices and builds it
Ujjwal Rupakheti
I’m a full-stack web developer and SEO specialist in Itahari. In 3+ years I’ve shipped 13+ projects for 15+ clients in Nepal and abroad. I’m a full-stack developer at Ektukra Digital Agency and a BSc (Hons) Computing student at Itahari International College. I set these prices and build every site myself.
With me, a static website starts at NPR 18,000 for up to five custom pages, with an enquiry form, WhatsApp, a map, SEO setup and free hosting. Extra pages cost NPR 2,000 each. Across Nepal, small static sites are commonly advertised at about NPR 10,000 to 50,000. The domain is extra.
Static vs Dynamic Website: What’s the Difference?
A static website is a set of finished pages the host sends as they are. A dynamic website, such as WordPress or an online store, builds pages from a database, so staff can edit them and customers can pay. Static is faster and cheaper to run; dynamic is easier to update.
How Much Does a 5-Page Website Cost in Nepal?
A five-page static website with me costs NPR 18,000, because five pages are included. If I write the text too, add NPR 1,500 a page, so NPR 25,500 for all five. A five-page site you edit yourself falls under the WordPress & CMS package, from NPR 35,000.
Can I Edit a Static Website Myself?
Not from a dashboard. Changes go through me, and monthly care at NPR 1,500 a month includes up to an hour of small changes, enough for new prices, hours or photos. If you’ll update pages every week, choose the WordPress & CMS package instead.
Is Hosting Really Free for a Static Website?
Yes. Cloudflare Pages, Netlify and GitHub Pages host static sites free, with HTTPS included. Hotel Aarohi, a hotel website I built, runs on GitHub Pages with its own domain. You still pay for the domain, unless your business qualifies for a free .com.np.
Is a Static Website Good for SEO?
Yes, if it is built well. Static pages load fast and every crawler sees the full content. Mine launch with titles, descriptions, LocalBusiness structured data, a sitemap and Search Console. Rankings still depend on content and competition, so nobody can honestly guarantee a position.
Can a Static Website Take eSewa or Khalti Payments?
Not safely. eSewa and Khalti payments must be confirmed by your own server, using secret keys, before an order counts as paid, and a static site has no server. You can still take orders by phone or WhatsApp. Online payments start with my online store package, from NPR 60,000.
What Does the NPR 18,000 Price Not Include?
The domain, paid to the registrar; page text, an option at NPR 1,500 a page; professional photos; pages you edit yourself, which is the WordPress & CMS package; and online payments, which is the online store package. VAT, where it applies, is added at 13%.
How Does the PDF Quotation Work?
Tick the options you need in the calculator on this page, and it totals the price and both payment stages. Download it as a PDF or send it to me. It is valid for 30 days, and I confirm the final scope and price in writing after a short call.
Can I Pay for My Website in Stages?
Yes, in two stages. You pay 50% when your home page and one inner page work on a preview link, and 50% at launch and handover, so you never pay for work you haven’t seen. I accept eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR or bank transfer.
