WordPress Fits When Your Staff Publish
- Notices, news or events go up every week
- You add pages over time, without a developer
- A blog matters, because customers search with questions
I’m Ujjwal Rupakheti, a web developer in Itahari, and I design WordPress websites that your own staff update, for businesses anywhere in Nepal. The package starts from NPR 35,000 for up to 10 pages and a blog, with Rank Math SEO, backups and staff training, and goes live in 2 to 4 weeks.
01Which package
My four packages differ in who edits the site and what it must do. Choose by how often your content changes.
| Static website | WordPress & CMS | Online store | SaaS or web app | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | Fixed pages, built from scratch | Pages, posts and photos your staff edit | Products, cart and Nepali payments | Sign-up, plans and one core workflow |
| Who edits it | I do, when you ask | Your staff, in WordPress | Your staff, with orders | Your customers use it |
| Price with me | From NPR 18,000 | From NPR 35,000 | From NPR 60,000 | From NPR 70,000 |
| Timeline | 1–2 weeks | 2–4 weeks | 3–8 weeks | 6–12 weeks |
| Best for | A clinic or shop whose pages rarely change | Schools, consultancies, clinics and trekking firms that post often | A shop selling products online | A product people sign up and pay for |
Each one starts from NPR 35,000.

02Honest fit
A CMS website lets your staff change content without code; in this package that CMS is WordPress. If your site doesn’t need one, I’ll say so before you pay.

Choose something else
My Hotel Aarohi website is static HTML on GitHub Pages, fast on rural connections and free to host. Nimtto is a product, not a blog, so it runs on a Vite build.
03What’s included
All of this is in the NPR 35,000 price, and each part matters for a business in Nepal.
Up to 10 pages and a blog. Your office changes a fee or posts a notice the same day, without a developer.
Most visitors arrive on a phone, often on mobile data, so caching, compressed images and a Core Web Vitals check come as standard.
Titles, an XML sitemap and structured data that tell Google and AI assistants who you are and what you offer.
Security hardening, automatic backups and spam-protected forms, because a hacked site can lose its rankings overnight.
Many customers would rather message than fill in a form, and a map matching your Google Business Profile helps them find you.
Search Console and Analytics in your name, plus a training call and written guide for your staff.
Installed · one plugin per job
04Speed
Every plugin adds code, and much of it loads on every page, used or not: a contact form plugin often loads on the home page too. Page builders add deeply nested HTML that slows how fast a phone responds to a tap.
So I build on a light theme such as GeneratePress or Kadence, with one plugin per job, as my WordPress SEO guide for Nepal explains.
05Quotation
Tick the pages and features you need to see the total, the payment stages and the running costs, then download the quotation as a PDF or send it to me. Prices are fixed for the scope you pick.
06Price
Each option is real work with a fixed price. Here is what it involves, so you can judge if you need it.
Pages and content
Ten pages suit most businesses. A school with a page per programme, or a trekking firm with a page per trek, needs more.
About 400 to 600 words a page in English or Nepali, written around what customers search for. Late text is the usual cause of delay.
About 1,000 words each, keyword-researched and linked to your service pages, answering what customers ask before they buy.
Up to 50 items from your old site, each old URL 301-redirected so its rankings carry over. My redesign guide explains why.
A language switch and hreflang tags, so Google shows each visitor the right version. Nepali goes in as Unicode, never images or Preeti.
Features
Date, time and service fields, an email to you and a confirmation to the customer. Live slots with payment are quoted per module.
Notices with BS and AD dates and a PDF, newest first, while structured data keeps the standard date. Schools need this most.
Albums your staff fill, with a full-screen viewer. Uploads are resized for phones, because camera-size photos slow pages down.
Vacancies with a form that accepts CVs. Uploaded files need type and size limits and private storage, which a plain form doesn’t.
Connected to Mailchimp, Brevo or similar, with consent recorded, so you can email past customers about admissions or offers.
Delivery and after launch
About half the usual time, for an admission or trekking season. It adds 25% to the one-time total, because other work moves aside.
Updates, daily backups, uptime and security checks, and an hour of changes a month. Why it matters is below.
Technical fixes, content and links, with a monthly report, for harder searches. See my SEO services in Nepal.
Not in this package
Online payments are a separate package, because your server must confirm every payment: eSewa ePay v2 signs responses with HMAC-SHA256, and Khalti KPG-2 needs a server-side lookup. My eSewa and Khalti guide shows how.

Care at NPR 3,000 a month adds NPR 36,000 to any first year. I’m in Itahari; clients in Dharan, Kathmandu and Pokhara work with me online.
08After launch
After launch, the site’s own bills go to the providers in your name: about NPR 2,500 to 21,500 in the first year, plus optional email.
| Low end | High end | What decides it | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Domain | Free .com.np | About 1,500 to 2,500 for a .com | Free for eligible businesses |
| Hosting | About 2,500 a year | About 10,000 a year | Plan size and traffic |
| Paid plugins | None | About 9,000 a year | Only if needed, such as Elementor Pro |
| SSL certificate | Free | Free | Let’s Encrypt, via the host |
| Business email | None | Per user | Optional |
| First-year total | About 2,500 | About 21,500, plus email | My care plan adds 36,000 |
Choose a host in Nepal or nearby, such as Singapore or Mumbai, so the server answers in under about 0.8 seconds. Register a .com.np at register.com.np with your own admin email. More in my guide to website cost in Nepal.
09Care plan
My care plan is NPR 3,000 a month. Advertised WordPress plans in Nepal run from about NPR 2,000 to 15,000.
Patchstack counted 11,334 new WordPress flaws in 2025, 91% in plugins, and about half the high-impact ones were exploited within 24 hours.
Files and database copied daily, one copy away from the host, because a backup kept only on the server disappears with it.
A monitor alerts me when the site stops answering, and checks catch a hacked page before customers do.
New fees, a staff photo or Dashain and Tihar hours, without a new quote each time.
The site slows, a form stops sending, then a plugin with a known flaw is exploited. PHP 8.2 also loses security fixes on 31 December 2026. A clean-up costs far more than prevention.
The full checklist is in my guide to website maintenance cost in Nepal.
10Market prices
CMS business websites are advertised in Nepal at about NPR 30,000 to 1,50,000. That range is approximate, from packages Nepali agencies and freelancers publish, not a formal survey.
11Process
Three payments, each after you see the work on a preview link. You never pay for work you haven’t seen.
Your pages and deadline, then the scope and price in writing.
The home page and one inner page on a preview link. Pay 40%.
All pages and options, reviewed on the preview. Pay 40%.
Staff training, then launch on your domain. Pay the last 20%.
Bugs in the first 30 days are fixed free. Care is optional.
Late content or feedback moves the launch date, not the price.
12Proof
My published case studies are custom builds. The closest to this package is Pentagon Carpets, a Nepali carpet exporter whose staff run its website without a developer, through a self-service CMS I built in 2026.
It is not WordPress: the CMS is custom, in React, Express and PostgreSQL, with three staff roles. A build like it is quoted on its scope, not from this package.

Case study: Pentagon CarpetsA catalogue website and role-based CMS for a handmade carpet exporter.
Average client rating: 4.9 out of 5.
Working with Ujjwal on our agency project was a remarkable experience. He approached the project with the precision of an engineer and the strategic thinking of a marketer. The website he built not only looks polished but ranks exceptionally well for our target keywords. His dedication to quality and his availability made the entire process seamless.
Prices, hosting, care plans and the PDF quotation, answered before you ask.
Ask me on WhatsAppWith me, a WordPress business website starts from NPR 35,000 for up to 10 pages and a blog, built in 2 to 4 weeks. Every option is priced in the calculator above. Across Nepal, CMS sites are advertised at about NPR 30,000 to 1,50,000.
Choose WordPress if your staff publish news, notices or posts often. Choose a static site, from NPR 18,000, if a few pages rarely change: it is faster and free to host. Choose a custom build if the site is really an app.
Yes. Your staff edit pages, posts, photos and menus in the WordPress dashboard, without code. The package includes a training call and a short written guide, and editors get only the access they need, so they can publish without breaking settings or installing plugins.
The domain and hosting, paid to the providers; paid licences, if a feature needs one; page text and photos, though text is an option at NPR 1,500 a page; and online payments, which are the online store package. VAT, where it applies, is added at 13%.
Tick the options you need and the calculator totals them, with the payment stages and running costs. Download the quotation as a PDF, made in your browser, or send it to me. It is valid for 30 days; I confirm the scope after a short call.
Yes: 40% when the home page and one inner page are on your preview link, 40% when every page is built, and 20% at launch. On the NPR 35,000 package that is NPR 14,000, 14,000 and 7,000, by eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR or bank transfer.
Shared WordPress hosting costs about NPR 2,500 to 10,000 a year, by plan size and traffic. Choose a host in Nepal or nearby, such as Singapore or Mumbai, so pages load quickly, and check whether 13% VAT is added and what renewal costs.
If nobody on your staff will update plugins and check backups, yes. Plugins are where WordPress sites get hacked, often within a day of a flaw going public. My care plan is NPR 3,000 a month for updates, daily backups, uptime and security checks.
Yes. Moving up to 50 pages, posts and images costs NPR 6,000, with a 301 redirect from every old URL, so the rankings those pages earned carry over. I keep URLs that already rank where I can, and watch Search Console after launch.
Yes. When you are ready to sell, the site moves to the online store package, from NPR 60,000, usually as WooCommerce on the same WordPress site. Every eSewa and Khalti payment is then verified on the server before an order counts as paid.
