07Case study · Company operating system
Eutaa is a company operating system that puts HR, attendance, leave, payroll, finance and projects in one place, with Nepal’s VAT, SSF and TDS rules built in. I designed and built it as a redevelopment of an earlier platform, KLIXIR, and it is used every day at Ektukra Digital Agency.
01The problem
Most small companies in Nepal run attendance in one app, payroll in a spreadsheet, invoices in another tool and projects in a chat group. A growing company needs all of it, and in Nepal payroll and finance also have to handle VAT, the Social Security Fund and TDS correctly. Off-the-shelf tools either ignore those rules or only cover one part of the job.
Eutaa started as a redevelopment of an earlier platform, KLIXIR. The goal was a stronger security model and a much broader product.
Eutaa puts work, people and money in one system, with Nepali compliance built in.
02The solution
Eutaa covers HR, attendance and leave, payroll and finance with Nepal compliance (VAT, SSF and TDS), projects and work logs, and staff messaging, in one application. Every employee has their own view, with shortcuts to their attendance, leave and notifications.
Permissions are checked on the server, every important action is written to an audit log, and an MCP server lets AI assistants work with company data through the same permission rules as a person. It is the kind of management system I build for companies.
03Features
Several departments share one system, so a leave approval, a payslip and a project update all live next to each other.
04Architecture
Eutaa is a React 19 application on a Fastify 5 API with PostgreSQL and Drizzle. Real-time features such as messaging and live updates use WebSocket.
The demo runs as a fully separate deployment with its own database and socket origin, so walkthroughs never touch real company data. Separation like this starts in database design.
The start-up script is an external file, so the Content-Security-Policy can forbid inline scripts entirely. Camera, location, payment and USB access are switched off at the browser level.
05Engineering
The three decisions that shaped Eutaa, and why I made them. Each one solves a problem a real user would hit.
01
Payroll and finance follow Nepali rules for VAT, SSF and TDS. Those rules are part of the product’s model, so a company does not rebuild them in a spreadsheet every month.
02
Eutaa includes an MCP server, the open protocol that lets AI assistants call tools. An assistant can look up work, people or finance data, but only through the same server-side permission checks that apply to the person using it. RecruitFlow is another example of AI inside business software.
03
Eutaa replaced an earlier platform, KLIXIR. The rebuild moved permissions to the server, added an audit log and widened the product from a narrow tool to a full operating system for a company, the kind of custom software that grows with a business.
Server-side permissions protect the data. These browser rules protect the people using it.
06Status
Eutaa is live and used every day at Ektukra. A separate demo environment at demo.eutaa.com is available for walkthroughs.
Live and in daily use
It shows the business software I build for companies: several departments in one system, local compliance built in, server-side security, and AI access that does not bypass the rules.

What Eutaa covers, how it handles Nepali rules and how it was built.
Ask me on WhatsAppEutaa is a company operating system for businesses in Nepal. It covers HR, attendance and leave, payroll and finance with VAT, SSF and TDS, projects and work logs, and staff messaging in one application, with an audit log of important actions and an MCP server for AI assistants.
Yes. Payroll follows Nepal’s Social Security Fund and TDS rules, finance handles VAT, and the system understands the fiscal year. Those rules are part of the product’s model, so a company does not rebuild them in a spreadsheet every month.
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI assistants call tools. Eutaa’s MCP server lets an assistant look up work, people or finance data, but only through the same server-side permission checks that apply to the person using it, so the AI never sees more than they could.

Yes. I build custom management systems for HR, payroll, inventory and bookings that fit how a business already works, including Nepali rules for VAT, SSF and TDS. They are quoted per module after a short call. See management systems for what a module includes.
